Youth to the People Superberry Dream Mask Review

Youth to the People Superberry Dream Mask Review

I've been using the @youthtothepeople superberry hydrate + glow dream mask for just over two months now and, having taken the time to properly test it out, I can confidently say that it's worthy of the hype. [sidenote: if you're ever wondering how the product still looks new in the photo after two months of use, it's not magic- I regularly take photos of products prior to testing them, both because batch shooting is much more time efficient and, more often than not, it's more visually appealing when it's pristine] When I first opened this, I wasn't sure how to use it because it was so much thicker and heavier than most of the sleeping masks I'd tried; was I supposed to skip my moisturizer and use this instead? Layer it over a lighter cream? You get the idea. So I experimented with different applications, and ultimately found that it worked best for me (someone with normal/dry skin, more so during the winter) when I used lots of light, hydrating layers (essences/mists/serums), then a gel cream, and finally the mask to seal it all in. The next morning, I'd wake up to super soft, supple skin without any congestion- I'm not acne-prone, but even so I've had night creams/oils break me out a bit when used too heavily. I wasn't paying much attention to its brightening abilities, so I can't speak to that aspect, but it's definitely a great treatment for battling winter dryness. That said, I wouldn't recommend this to oily or combination skin types, as it's likely too thick even when used alone. I also don't think this would work well in the summer for the same reasons, so I'm definitely trying to finish it before spring. It's a bit pricey at $48 for only 2 oz/59 ml, but a little goes a long way, so it could easily last you for most of the season. #youthtothepeople #yttp #sleepingmask #skincarereview #overnightmask #productreview #winterskincare #winterskin #dryskinrelief #beautyproducts #beautybloggers #revolvebeauty #skincare #skincareaddict #selfcare #beauty #shelfie #itgtopshelfie #vanities #byrdiebeauty #intothegloss #skincarejunkie #beautygram #beautycare #beautyaddict #beautyjunkie #butterandbeauty
