Volition Apple Cider Vinegar Resurfacing Peel Pads

Apple cider vinegar, or ACV for short, has been a popular ingredient for remedying various health issues, from sore throats to indigestion, so it makes sense that it would eventually find its way into skincare. In this case, @volitionbeauty 's new Apple Cider Vinegar Resurfacing Peel Pads, available on both their site and @sephora . ACV contains natural AHAs to remove dead skin and clean out pores. It also has potassium, and vitamins A, C, and E to promote brightness and reduce dark spots. Full disclosure: I've never gotten past the taste/smell of ACV, despite many attempts, so the fact that these smell exactly like it is a big downside for me. With that said, the pads themselves are quite nice- they're individually packaged so there no fear of drying out (also great for travel), and they have a slip for you to put two fingers in and gently swipe on the skin. I didn't feel any stinging or tingling at all, nor was it irritating, and I definitely noticed a decrease in congestion the next day. I think these would be great for someone who's just starting to get into exfoliating, as they're gentle enough to be used daily. They come in a pack of 30 for $64, which is admittedly a bit high for a one month supply if you intend to use them daily, but will obviously last longer if you use them at a lesser frequency. I've really enjoyed having them when I'm on the go/traveling, as it saves a lot of space and is TSA friendly. Will it replace my pixi glow tonic/pads? Probably not, especially when considering affordability, but I do think these work well.
