Formulate Custom Shampoo + Conditioner

I love the idea of custom haircare, but have found that sometimes it's more of a novelty than a way to actually address specific concerns/needs. Sure, it's fun to pick a color and/or have your name printed on the packaging, but ultimately what matters most is that you're using the right products for your hair/scalp. When Formulate reached out, I was immediately intrigued by their inclusion of environmental factors in customizing the formula, as it has such a big effect, and yet I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere else. I found the questionnaire simple, succinct, and comprehensive, but also informative for anyone who's not as familiar with haircare terms. They also recognize that sometimes it takes more than one try to get it right, so if your first formulation isn't right, they'll work with you to adjust the formula AND send you the new version for free! Big points in my book. I have long, frizz-prone, wavy, medium thick hair that I partially blow dry regularly, and a very dry scalp. So the hair goals I selected specifically addressed those issues.
