Fresh Lotus Line Review

Another edition of @freshbeauty mini reviews! #freshbeautygiftedme their newly reformulated lotus line, which is all about lightweight formulas that prevent and/or combat the first signs of aging, and that is exactly what I'm focused on right now in terms of my skincare regimen. The hero ingredient is their new ingredient Super Lotus, which uses the entire living lotus plant (flower, stem, and root) to boost radiance, strengthen the moisture barrier, and protect from free radicals that are known to damage skin: 🌱 the Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer ($48 for 1.6 oz / 50 ml) is a lovely lightweight cream that layers well over serums and/or essences, plus it Prime's skin wonderfully for makeup! Since I'm on the dry side, I need something thicker during winter, but come summer this is one I reach for regularly. My mum loves it too, and while we obviously don't have the same skincare goals, it works great for her as well! 🌱 pretty much everything I just said above is the same for the Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream ($48 for 1.6 oz / 50 ml), with the one additional observation that unlike most night creams that are heavy, this one is as light as can be! 🌱 I love me a good eye cream, and the Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream ($45 for 0.5 oz / 15 ml) is easily my favorite of the three! I don't care for eye creams that are super thin, but during the day you kind of need that if you want to put makeup on top of it. This, however, has just a tiny bit of heft that makes it feel lovely, but it goes on super smooth and absorbs immediately!
